Iā€™m thrilled to announce that applications for the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) are open for students at Mason Korea!
Thanks to a collaborative effort between Student Government and the Office of University Life, we were able to sign a service level agreement with KISES to allow students to apply for the ISIC, available on the Your Mason ID page on the Mason Korea website.

What is the ISIC?

The ISIC card allows students the world over to prove their official student status and make the most of thousands of targeted student benefits and discounts in over 114 countries/territories.
Developed to help nurture cross-cultural understanding and international exchange, the card originally provided students with access to exclusive discounts on travel opportunities, allowing cardholders to discover and interact with new countries, cultures and languages at reduced rates.
Students may issue theĀ CardĀ through theĀ following banks and options:Ā IBK (checkĀ cardĀ only), Shinhan Bank (checkĀ cardĀ only), or Hana Bank (checkĀ cardĀ or exclusively as anĀ identityĀ card). The issuance fee is KRW 17,000 for a one-year expiration and KRW 34,000 for two years.

IBS Feature

Iā€™m also thankful to Incheon Global Campus Broadcasting Studio (IBS) for covering our new agreement with ISIC through an interview, which has been featured on ISICā€™s website as well.
I look forward to how our students use the Card in the future!
