As a continuation of my presentation last semester on Classroom Assessment Techniques, I was reinvited to Mason Korea’s Faculty Development Week for the Fall 2023 semester as Student Body President.
This semester, I had time to reflect on what we had done as Student Government - while we represent the needs and interests of the student body, we also strongly believe that the satisfaction and success of our students directly correlate to those of our faculty and staff.
So, the question becomes:
How do we improve and achieve engagement for both our students and faculty?
I started looking at what other institutions of higher education offer in terms of Faculty-Student Engagement Programs (FSEPs), applying them to the Mason Korea context - both residential and institutional.
