For most students, I realize that Mason360 (using the CampusGroups platform) can be inconvenient or sometimes sluggish when filling out forms or surveys. For staff and/or leaders though, I realize how helpful it is as an all-in-one suite to create pretty much everything you need, such as news articles, appointment schedulers, and websites.
Our Student Government website also uses Mason360 to host important information such as our newsletters (digests) and contact information for all members - with our transition, I first had to contact Mason360 support to change our group acronym from “masonkoreasc” to “mksg,” which they promptly did (huge thank you)!
Now that we have our new link to our website under https://mason360.gmu.edu/mksg/, I wondered whether we could have a separate subdomain under the gmu.edu domain - wouldn’t that make accessing our website so much easier? I promptly reached out to Mason ITS, which as always, were incredibly helpful and responsive in creating a short link for our Mason360 website.
That’s why I’m incredibly happy and proud to present our new domain under http://mk.sg.gmu.edu! (Wow, isn’t that so much better?)
Of course, we will continue to revamp our communication and PR channels, with the addition of our Linktree this semester and change in our email address which should also hopefully come very soon.
